Is there a Heaven

Is there a HEAVEN

Heaven is truly where the citizenship of the Christian is!

Scriptures follow below.

Jesus told the story of the rich man A's the poor man. They both sites. The rich man went to hell, the poor man to heaven. They went immediately after they died.

Jesus told the theif on the cross that He would be with Him in paradise. Jesus went to heaven.

Jesus said that where He was going we would go also. That in His Father's house there are many mansions and He went to prepare a place for us, abd said if He goes to prepare a place for us, He will come and bring us there.

Elisa and Moses appeared to Jesus at the mount of transfiguration. They had been in heaven.

John sees a vision of heaven. He sees the 24 elders. (The 12 disciples and 12 tribes of Jacob)

Stephen sees heaven open up and Jesus waiting to receive him.

Countless people have gone to heaven, and hell and returned to tell it is real. Not one single person who went to heaven wanted to come back. Heaven is magnificent.

God created the world and made man to dwell on the world. But man would not live forever and when man died, he went to heaven for eternity. We have a soul and a spirit. Those live forever. The body gets buried but we are forever with the Lord. When the rapture occurs, the bodies are resurrected and joined to the body, then those who belong to Christ will be brought up to Him and ask off us get new bodies. Our immortality turns to mortality. We become incorrupt.

We get glorified bodies.

There is a heaven

The Bible says that Jesus will descend out of heaven, with the angels to get His Bride, the church. at the rapture. Then at the end of the tribulation,, all those who have gone to heaven will come back with Him to battle the anti christ and all who serve him. Those who come back, have been with Him in heaven. And have taken part of the marriage super.

Philippians 3:20-21 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

Matthew 25:34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.

John 14:2-4

In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also. And [to the place] where I am going, you know the way.”

Matthew 16:19New Living Translation (NLT)

19 And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid[a] on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit[b] on earth will be permitted in heaven.”

Matthew 24:30-36
"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Matthew 24:32-36

32"Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near (My Return), right at the door.34  I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. 36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only

Luke 16:19-31 New International Version (NIV)

The Rich Man and Lazarus

19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side (in heaven.) The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades (hell), where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here (in heaven) and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”the Father. (NIV)

Matthew 18:10 See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

Revelation 5:13

13 Then I heard every living thing in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and in the sea and all that are in them. They were saying, “Thanks and honor and shining-greatness and all power are to the One Who sits on the throne and to the Lamb forever.”

1 Kings 8:30 And listen to the plea of your servant and of your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. And listen in heaven your dwelling place, and when you hear, forgive

2 Corinthians 5:8 Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

Philippians 1:23- There is a strong pull from both sides. I have a desire to leave this world to be with Christ, which is much better

(Acts 7:56). “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God”

(2 Corinthians 5:1). “We know that if the earthly tent (body) we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, and eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands”

The word heaven is spoken of 692 times inin the Bible, and  countless other references to being with Jesus without actually using the word heaven. It would be very difficult to accept the Bible and the teaching of the scriptures without a complete acceptance of the reality of heaven.
